CANCELLATION, TERMINATION AND REFUNDS POLICY

 

PRIVATES

Private lesson fee will be charged up to 2 days prior to the lesson.

Cancelations/reschedules of your private lesson are acceptable up to 24 hours or earlier before your lesson time start. 50% of the lesson fee will be returned to you less 4% processing fees by Interac e-transfer.

There are no refunds for bookings canceled within 24 hours of your booking start time or no shows.

DROP-INS

To receive a refund, you must request a cancellation of your class at least 24 hours before the start of the class to allow for waitlisted individuals to receive timely notification of class vacancy. If we do not receive your email 24 hours before the start of class, you will not be refunded the class fee.

If the UniverseSoul Dance cancels a class, you are subject to a full refund.

TRAINING PROGRAMS

Dancers may place their contract on hold at anytime. There will be a $65.00 non-refundable hold fee  and a $15 fee for each month the contract is on hold. Holds will be processed on the first day of the month following the date the hold request was received. 

  • If you request to hold before the 15th of the month, your current monthly tuition is the hold fee.

  • If you request to hold after the 15th of the month, you will be charged the hold fee in the subsequent month.

Dancers may terminate their contract at anytime. Terminations will be processed on the first day of the month following the date the termination request was received.

  • If you request termination before the 15th of a month, you will not receive a refund for that month. You will be able to participate for the rest of that month.

  • If you request termination after the 15th of a month, you will be charged for the subsequent month and will not receive a refund. You will be able to participate for the rest of the subsequent month.

COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS

All dancers may terminate their contract.  There will be a $100.00 non-refundable termination fee.  Contracts may not be terminated January 1 onwards due to the nature of competition and the effects of termination on the entire roster, teammates and directors.

Terminations will be processed on the first day of the month following the date the cancellation request was received.  It is necessary to provide 2 weeks notice

  • If you request termination before the 15th of a month, you will not receive a refund for that month. You will be able to participate for the rest of that month.

  • If you request termination after the 15th of a month, you will be charged for the subsequent month and will not receive a refund. You will be able to participate for the rest of the subsequent month.

If any of the competition, costume and accommodation fees have already been collected, they will not be refunded.

SHOWS AND EVENTS

You may request to cancel your ticket for a full refund up to 24 hours before the date and time of the event. Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of the event date/time may not receive a refund. When you purchase a ticket, you agree to these terms.

INTENSIVES

To receive a refund, you must request a cancellation of your class at least 24 hours before the start of intensive to allow for waitlisted individuals to receive timely notification of program vacancy.

PRIVACY POLICY AND INFORMATION

 

The information we collect:

At UniverseSoul Dance Inc., we collect a variety of information that you provide directly to us.  We process your information on MindBody when necessary to provide you with the dance programming in and outside of the studio.  If you buy something from us, we also collect your payment information and your billing information.

UniverseSoul Dance collects information from you through:

1.     Account and service registration and administration of your account

2.     Requests or questions you submit to us via forms or email (e.g., support forms, survey forms, user research participation forms)

3.     Your communications and dealings with us

4.     Your participation in UniverseSoul activities

5.     Uploads or posts to UniverseSoul Dance digital media platforms

6.     Requests for customer support

Information from and about you:

The types of information we collect will depend upon the Services you use, and what you choose to provide.  The types of data we collect directly from you may include:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Telephone number

  • Email address

  • Birthdate

  • Emergency contact information

Optional information:

  • Photograph, that you elect to associate with your account (your “Profile Information”)

  • Log-in details and password, if you create a MindBody account

  • With you permission, calendar information stored on your mobile device

  • Any email requests of questions you submit to us. 

  • Demographic information such as your gender. 

  • User generated content that you post in public online UV forums.
